WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Medical records released Monday by Democratic U.S. vice presidential nominee Joe Biden show treatment of two brain aneurysms, and other, mostly minor maladies.

Since the treatment in 1988, Biden has had no subsequent aneurysms and had has undergone appropriate screening, said Dr. Matthew Parker, a physician chosen by the campaign to address the news media.

Parker said, "Everything that was supposed to be done, is being done," CNN reported.

Biden's Republican counterpart, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, 44, has not released any medical information.

Democratic standard-bearer Barack Obama, 47, hasn't made public his medical records either, but his campaign released a one-page summary of those records that concluded he is in excellent health.

GOP candidate John McCain, 72, provided a look at more than 1,100 pages of medical records, many dealing with the removal of four skin cancers.

Medical records indicate Biden's health is generally good, CNN reported. He suffers occasional back pain, chronic sinusitis and seasonal allergies dating back to childhood when asthma was diagnosed. Earlier this year, he underwent surgery to correct the sinus condition.

Biden takes taking aspirin as a blood thinner for an irregular heartbeat.

Biden's cholesterol reading is 173 and he has a 474 reading for the so-called good cholesterol, both considered within healthy ranges, CNN reported. A PSA screening for prostate cancer came back with normal results.
