LIMON, Honduras, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- A tropical depression that brought stiff winds and downpours to Honduras and surrounding region dissipated Wednesday night and early Thursday, forecasters said.

The National Hurricane Center in Miami said Tropical Depression 16 was producing sustained winds of only 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 35 mph in the pre-dawn hours Thursday.
