BAGHDAD, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- One person died and six other people were wounded in separate incidents of violence in Iraq, the Iraqi Interior Ministry reported Monday.

A roadside bomb exploded Monday as an Iraqi police patrol was in the area in northeastern Baghdad, wounding five people, including three police officers, CNN reported.

In Mosul Sunday, a Christian businessman was killed and his nephew wounded in a drive-by shooting, police said. The two were standing near their house in the Kazraj neighborhood when the shooting occurred.
