BRISBANE, Australia, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Authorities say an Australian woman who let her family believe she was dead has married the man who allegedly hid her when she was a teenager.

Natasha Ryan, now 24, disappeared in central Queensland in 1998 when she was 14 and was found five years later hiding in a cupboard in the home of Scott Black, a milkman her family had forbidden her to see, The Daily Mail reported Monday.

Ryan allegedly was living in Black home's when she reportedly watched television news of her disappearance and heard police and her family conclude she must be dead, the Mail reported.

Ryan and Black, who recently married, reportedly sold their wedding photos to a magazine for more than $160,000, yet still allegedly owe the government more than $120,000 for the investigation into her disappearance, the Mail reported.
