LONDON, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- British Airways said a plane carrying 137 passengers made an emergency landing at London's Heathrow Airport after fumes were detected in the passenger cabin.

The Boeing 757, which had disembarked from Nice, France, landed at Heathrow just after 8 a.m. Monday and no injured were reported aboard the plane, The Daily Mail reported Monday.

"The crew asked for a priority landing after fumes were detected in the cabin. Our engineers are now inspecting the plane," a British Airways spokesman said.

The incident came one day after another British Airways plane bound for Delhi, India, made an emergency landing in Berlin following the discovery of an electrical fault on an economy class TV screen.

"The BA143 Heathrow to Delhi flight diverted to Berlin this morning as a precaution after an electrical fault with the Inflight Entertainment System in one of the seatback television screens in economy class," an airline spokesman said Sunday. "The aircraft, a Boeing 777 with 222 passengers, landed safely at Berlin's Schoenefeld International Airport, where it was checked over by engineers."
