AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- The top political buzzwords as the U.S. presidential election approaches are "change, "climate change" and "bailout," a media trends analyst says.
In an analysis of media coverage of the election, Global Language Monitor of Austin, Texas, said those words topped its "Political Buzzwords" list.
The firm also said it found "gender" now trumps "race" as a political buzzword, while questions about experience "remain an issue for both parties, with (Democratic U.S. presidential nominee Sen. Barack) Obama (of Illinois) receiving 2.4 times more citations than (Republican U.S. vice presidential nominee Sarah) Palin."
The firm didn't detail its methodology in its news release.
