Inmate gets $300,000 for lost genitals
NBC documents show the Illinois senator's campaign is plunking down $891,250 gross for a half-hour prime time spot Oct. 29 as part of a final campaign push ahead of the Nov. 4 general election, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.
Documents from U.S. network rival CBS, showed Obama's campaign camp spending $961,000 to air a campaign message that same day during the network's 8-8:30 p.m. time period.
The Reporter said a Washington ad-buying company, GMMB, snatched up the Oct. 29 time slots after Sunday, Nov. 2, was deemed unworkable due to NFL football games and substantially higher costs.
The Reporter said neither Obama's campaign camp or that of Republican U.S. presidential nominee John McCain had any comments on the TV advertisements.
