Hawaii sees highest surf in decades

ST. HELENA, Calif., Oct. 11 (UPI) -- More than 200 acres of land and two structures have been destroyed by a brush fire near St. Helena, Calif., authorities said Saturday.
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection said the ongoing fire in the Deer Park area prompted the precautionary evacuation of nearly 100 people in the area, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
The cause of the fire, which began Friday afternoon, had yet to be determined. The Chronicle said no injuries had been reported.
Nearly 400 fire personnel were at the scene of the blaze attempting to contain the fire Saturday, the newspaper said.
