LAHORE, Pakistan, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Three separate blasts Tuesday night near a girls' college in Lahore, Pakistan's second largest city, injured at least five people, police said.
The blasts occurred near a fruit juice stand and a beauty parlor in Garhi Shau area of the Punjab provincial capital, Geo TV reported.
The report quoted a police official that the blasts were of low intensity.
The state-run Associated Press of Pakistan reported seven people were injured in the blasts, which occurred in a span of 25 minutes. It said a vehicle belonging to the bomb disposal unit also was damaged.
The report said the types of explosives used had not been determined.
The news agency quoted Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari as condemning the attacks and warning that such incidents cannot deter his government's resolve to fight terror.
