Seven people injured in Florida crash

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Seven people were injured, including one critically, when a pickup truck crashed into a gas pump in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., authorities say.

Detective Kathy Collins, a spokeswoman for the Fort Lauderdale police, said while no cause had been determined regarding Sunday afternoon's accident, it was thought the truck crashed into another vehicle before starting a fire by ramming with the pump, The Miami Herald reported Monday.

One person was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's burn center with critical injuries, while the other victims were treated for minor injuries.
