ALICE SPRINGS, Australia, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- A 7-year-old boy allegedly broke into a reptile farm in Australia and fed 10 live reptiles that were the farm's main exhibits to the resident crocodile.

Police said they couldn't file any charges against the boy, who also allegedly bludgeoned three lizards to death in their pens, The Australian reported Friday.

Security camera footage reportedly captured the youngster's 35-minute rampage through the Alice Springs Reptile Center in Australia's Northern Territory Wednesday. Center Director Rex Neindorf called the child's behavior "disgusting."

"I'm just devastated at the age of the child and the fact no one wants to take responsibility,'' Neindorf said. "The fact a 7-year-old can wreak so much havoc in such a short time, let alone even think of doing something like this, is unbelievable."

Neindorf said a turtle, four western blue tongue lizards, two bearded dragons, two thorny devils and a female Spencer's Goanna were thrown into the jaws of the 440-pound crocodile.

Police spoke to the boy and his mother but said they couldn't file charges against him because of his age, the newspaper said.
