Canada body-parts murder victim identified

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Minneapolis police said they had no suspects Tuesday in the overnight shooting death of a Somali immigrant on the eve of the Eid-al-Fitr religious festival.
The 19-year-old victim was gunned down at the Village Market shopping mall, which the Minneapolis Star Tribune said was filled with shoppers stocking up for the holiday.
The victim's cousin, Shukri Omar, said Edi-al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, is "supposed to be a festive day, and he's not going to be there."
The newspaper said the slaying was the latest incident in a recent spate of violence within the city's Somali community.
