CHICAGO, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Chicago police say they arrested a man Tuesday for allegedly breaching the security perimeter of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's home.

Police did not release the identity of the man taken into custody Tuesday morning near Obama's Kenwood neighborhood home, WBBM-AM, Chicago, reported.

There was no indication the man was armed, police spokesman Daniel O'Brien said.
