SUNDSVALL, Sweden, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- A Swedish man has been convicted and ordered to pay a heavy fine for posting nude photographs of his wife on the Web.

The photos have already cost the man his marriage, The Local reported. His wife left him when she learned the pictures were publicly available.

During his trial in Sundsvall District Court, the man said his wife knew what he was doing and agreed to it, which she denied. The court decided she was a more credible witness.

In addition to being found guilty of gross slander for the photographs of his wife, the man was also convicted of possession of child pornography. Police found pictures of nude children on his computer when it was searched.
