WASHINGTON, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- The U.S. Justice Department said Wednesday it has established a hotline to report Hurricane Gustav-related fraud.
People may call 1-866-720-5721 to report fraud, waste, abuse or allegations of management involving disaster relieve operations, the department said in a news release issued from Washington.
Reports also can be made by dialing the Disaster Fraud Fax line, 225-334-4707, or sending a Disaster Fraud e-mail at disaster@leo.gov.
Individuals can also report criminal activity to the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or visit the agency's Web site, www.fbi.gov.
