MAESBROOK, England, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Investigators say they believe a bankrupt British businessman killed his wife and daughter before setting fire to his mansion and taking his own life.

Christopher Foster, 50, was captured on a security camera walking around the stables and other buildings carrying a rifle, The Daily Mail reported. He was also filmed moving a horse van to block the drive and shooting out two of its tires.

Foster also allegedly shot the dogs and horses before he set the fire.

Only one body has been positively identified, that of Jill Foster, 49, who was shot to death before the fire. Investigators say they believe the body next to her was her husband and the third body found in the mansion was their daughter, Kirstie, 15.

Foster's business, Ulva, was in bankruptcy. Associates told the Mail he was angry at being blocked from selling his mansion in a Shropshire village because his business affairs were in receivership.

"Chris is my brother and I can't imagine he would do anything wrong," Foster's brother, Andrew, said. "I've been asked not to say anything at this stage until we know more.'
