Gore admits climate figures 'ballpark'
Tuesday, December 15
WASHINGTON, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- John McCain's spokesman Tuesday downplayed reports the presumptive Republican presidential nominee might announce is running mate earlier than scheduled.
Sources told Fox News Monday the announcement could come Thursday, the same day rival Barrack Obama accepts the nomination at the Democratic National Convention.
"I wouldn't much weight into reports that there are windows of possibility," campaign spokesman Tucker Bonds said Tuesday.
McCain is expected to announce his vice presidential choice on Friday, which happens to be his 72nd birthday.
