Poll: Almost half in U.S. creationist

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- A former supervisor of an Iowa meatpacking plant has admitted he helped hire illegal immigrants.
Juan Carlos Guerrero-Espinoza, 35, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids Wednesday to conspiracy to hire, and aiding and abetting the hiring of illegal immigrants at the Agriprocessors Inc. kosher meatpacking facility in Postville, The (Cedar Rapids) Gazette reported.
He faces up to five years in prison on each charge.
A second ex-supervisor, Martin De La Rosa-Loera, 43, was charged last month with one count of aiding and abetting in connection with the hiring of illegal immigrants. He is to go to trial Sept. 15.
