Harris County Sheriff's Lt. John Denholm told the Houston Chronicle that an autopsy, which would help determine any criminal charges in the case, would be performed on the unidentified body.

The body was found after the unnamed driver apparently told another customer in a Harris County bar that he had driven from Houston to northeast Texas with the body in the sleeper cab.

"After she died, he drove to Marshall to pick up a load and drove back down here to Houston," Denholm told the Chronicle. "He was sitting in the beer joint and he told another guy about the body."

"It appears to be a homicide," he added.
