BASINGSTOKE, England, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- The stay-at-home husband of an executive at a British cell phone company has been charged with killing her.

Alisdair Sinclair, 47, was arrested Tuesday and charged with the murder of Sally Sinclair, 40, The Telegraph reported.

Sally Sinclair was fatally stabbed Saturday at the couple's home in Hampshire. The couple had recently moved into the house in Amport.

While Sally Sinclair was head of business analysis for Vodafone, her husband took care of their 10-year-old twin boys. Neighbors said that the Sinclairs kept to themselves.

Nicolette Alford, the dead woman's mother, described her daughter as someone who always thought of others first.

"She didn't want people to worry about her, so she would keep her troubles to herself, whilst putting on a brave face for the rest of the world," Alford told The Telegraph.

Sally Sinclair began working for Vodafone in 1994.
