ST. JOHN'S, Antigua and Barbuda, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- A woman was charged Tuesday in Antigua with assisting the alleged killers of a honeymooning British couple.
Jeorgette Aaron, 31, entered no plea during a brief court appearance where she was formally charged with perverting the course of justice and being an accessory after the fact, The Guardian reported.
Kaniel Martin, 20, and Avie Howell, 17, were charged Monday with killing Ben and Catherine Mullany. Two women were charged last week with receiving property stolen from the Mullanys.
The couple were shot in their cottage at the Cocos Hotel on July 12, the last night of their honeymoon. Catherine Mullany was dead when they were found, while her husband, in a coma, died after he was flown back to Britain.
They were buried last week in a private service at the church where they were married in Wales. Their families plan to hold a public memorial service on Sept. 10 at Llandaff Cathedral.
