WASHINGTON, Aug. 15 (UPI) -- At least three of Sen. Barack Obama's potential running mates address the Democratic convention on the night the vice presidential candidate is scheduled.

Sens. Evan Bayh of Indiana and Joseph Biden of Delaware and New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson are joining former President Bill Clinton in speaking from the podium Wednesday night, The Hill reported Friday.

The three contenders will be joined by Sen. Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada.

Other possible running mates, like Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine or Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, could be viewed as having moved up the short list, the report said.
