Fla. boy, 11, accused of robbing store

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 11 (UPI) -- An 11-year-old boy allegedly used two BB guns to rob a Walgreens in Orlando, Fla., early Monday, police said.

Orlando Police Sgt. Barbara Jones alleged the young suspect, whose name was not released, entered the 24-hour drugstore and brandished the firearms, demanding money, the Orlando Sentinel said.

Police officers arrested the 11-year-old outside of the business as he attempted to flee the scene, Jones said.

The Sentinel said while an initial report from crime scene technicians said the weapons were fake, the suspect now faces felony charges of commercial robbery.
