DETROIT, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- An Amtrak train was delayed two hours after an engine slipped off the track in Detroit, officials said.

The engine popped off the track along the Wolverine Line between Chicago and Pontiac, Mich., an Amtrak spokesman said.

The Detroit Free Press reported Saturday that no one was injured in the incident at about 5 p.m. Friday near East Clay Street and the I-75 service drive in Detroit.

Cliff Cole, an Amtrak spokesman, said the train was able to move to the Detroit station. Passengers were put on a bus and taken to Pontiac, Mich., he said.
