Hillary Clinton celebrates her West Virginia win in Charleston

DENVER, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Supporters of former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton say they will stage a Denver march during the Democratic National Convention.

The city has issued a parade permit to Colorado Women Count/Women Vote, a group that says it wants to commemorate the historic nature of the campaign waged by Sen. Clinton, D-N.Y., the Rocky Mountain News reported Wednesday.

The newspaper said the group also will team with 18 Million Voices, a national pro-Clinton group, for a rally in a still-undetermined Denver park.

"We just want to celebrate Hillary's accomplishments and what she's done for the country as a whole and women in particular," parade organizer Katherine Vincent of Louisville, Colo., told the News.
