Ludacris weighs in on McCain, Clinton

WASHINGTON, July 30 (UPI) -- Award-winning rapper Ludacris, a big-time Barack Obama backer, has a new song out dissin' John McCain and Hillary Clinton with some crude lyrics.

Ludacris, who's real name is Christopher Bridges, also nails President George Bush and the Rev. Jesse Jackson in the song "Politics: Obama Is Here," Fox News reported Wednesday.

He calls Clinton, the New York senator who bowed out of the race for the Democratic nomination for president after Obama, the senator from Illinois, took an insurmountable lead in the primaries, an "irrelevant" "b----." He says McCain, the Arizona senator who is the likely Republican nominee, "doesn't belong in any chair unless he's paralyzed."

He also calls Bush "mentally handicapped" and also chides Jackson for "talking slick" about the Obama campaign.

Ludacris makes a pitch for encouraging blacks to make Obama the first black U.S. president.

"Paint the White House black and I'm sure that's got 'em terrified," he sings.

The musical message didn't sit well with Obama, The Boston Globe reported. Campaign spokesman Bill Burton issued a statement saying the song is "outrageously offensive."

"While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics," Burton said.
