NEW YORK, July 29 (UPI) -- The best professors in the United States are at Vermont's Middlebury College and the best campus food is at Illinois' Wheaton College, survey results indicate.
The poll of 120,000 U.S. college students performed by The Princeton Review education services firm of New York also found that Loyola College of Maryland was judged to have the best dorms while Princeton University students are happiest with their financial aid. The New Jersey school was also ranked as having the most beautiful campus.
The Princeton Review says it asked students at 368 colleges during the 2007-08 school year, as well as from the previous two school years, to fill out an 80-question survey requesting they rank their schools in more than 50 categories. Ninety-five percent of them were completed online, it said.
Among its other findings were that Northwestern University was ranked highest for job placement; Stanford University was judged best in classroom experience; and that Texas A&M University had the most conservative student body while Occidental College of Los Angeles had the most liberal students.
The top party school was judged to be University of Florida while Brigham Young University was deemed to be the most "stone-cold sober" college.
