Prodigy, 21, about to become doctor

LONDON, July 25 (UPI) -- British Prime Minister Gordon Brown brushed off a possible leadership challenge Friday after his Labor party was trounced in a Scottish election.
Brown said he was simply "getting on with the job" after seeing Labor's third safest seat in Scotland, Glasgow East, fall to the Scottish National Party with a massive 22 percent swing.
"My full focus is on taking people through these difficult times," the prime minister said.
