WASHINGTON, July 24 (UPI) -- U.S. border officials say smugglers tried to use Hurricane Dolly as a cover in at least three attempts to move drugs or illegal aliens through Texas.
In one case, about 9,600 pounds of marijuana, worth an estimated $8 million, was found under cotton seeds on a truck at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Border Patrol checkpoint in Sarita, Texas, CNN said.
Two other cases involved efforts to smuggle illegal aliens.
