Five die in British plane crash
Laurent Gillot, 51, of Boca Raton, Fla., was listed in serious condition at Delray Medical Center, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.
No one on the ground was injured when the Cessna 402B crashed Tuesday afternoon, clipping the top of the new Ocean Ridge Town Hall but construction workers had to scramble out of the way.
The crash also cut power in the town.
Gillot filed for bankruptcy in 2006, listing four houses, three vacant lots, several cars and a boat among his assets.
He did not list any planes, but FAA records show that the Cessna was once registered to Gillot's company, L.G.P.M., the newspaper said. The Cessna is now registered to another Boca Raton businessman.
