Suspected propaganda expert arrested

BAGHDAD, July 21 (UPI) -- Coalition forces in Iraq said Monday they arrested an alleged propaganda expert of Hezbollah Brigades in Baghdad.

Coalition forces used intelligence findings to locate the alleged propaganda specialist, military officials said in a Monday news release.

The suspect is accused of uploading Internet images and video clips showing attacks aimed at Iraqi security and coalition forces, officials learned from alleged criminals arrested in the past.

Officials said the suspect's Internet activity may be in line with a propaganda plan to gain cash and backing from Iranian supporters.

When questioned, the alleged criminal's wife informed officials her husband was the person they were looking for, the release said.

Intelligence information suggests Kata'ib Hezbollah, or Hezbollah Brigade, stemmed from Iranian-trained Special Groups.
