ORLANDO, Fla., July 18 (UPI) -- Officials say they're still searching Florida for a missing 2-year-old girl following the arrest of her mother on child neglect charges.

Casey Anthony, 22, was arrested Wednesday, the same day she reported Caylee Anthony missing, the Orlando Sentinel reported. She said that she left her daughter with a babysitter on June 9.

"Based on the repetitive lies that the defendant has told, we do not know with whom the child is or even if the child is alive," wrote Cpl. Yuri Melich of the missing-persons unit with the Orange County Sheriff's Office. "It should be noted that at no time during any of the above interviews did the defendant show any

obvious emotion as to the loss of her child."

Casey Anthony and her daughter stayed with her parents in Lee Vista until June 9. Casey told various stories about her whereabouts and her daughter's.

On Thursday, deputies brought cadaver dogs to the house and began digging up the yard.
