ORLANDO, Fla., July 17 (UPI) -- The Florida mother of a missing 2-year-old has been denied bail after she allegedly lied to her family and police about the child.

Orange County Judge John Jordan denied Casey Marie Anthony, 22, bond Thursday, saying she showed "no regret or concern for her actions" following the monthlong disappearance of her daughter Caylee Marie Anthony, 2, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

"You left your 2-year-old child with a person who does not exist at an apartment you cannot identify and you lied to your parents about your child's whereabouts," Jordan said.

Anthony was also ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation and have no unsupervised contact with a child under the age of 17

Anthony allegedly told detectives she dropped Caylee off June 9 at a baby sitter's but that the child wasn't there when she returned. Authorities told the newspaper the apartment has been empty for five months.

She didn't report the child missing until relatvies convinced her to this week, the Sentinel said.
