WASHINGTON, July 13 (UPI) -- A second passenger in an open-top, double-decker bus has died from hitting his head on a low-lying bridge, Washington police said.

Police say the men were either standing on the top deck of the bus or atop the seats of the deck of the vehicle, which was traveling on the Southwest Freeway en route to the Washington Nationals baseball game. The men sustained massive head trauma when they struck the underside of a freeway overpass, police said.

No charges have been filed in the incident, the Post reported, adding police were investigating whether the bus had enough clearance to legally travel the underpass.
