UTICA, N.Y., July 11 (UPI) -- Likely Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama leads presumptive GOP nominee John McCain in two traditionally Republican states, a poll indicates.
Zogby Interactive polling shows the Illinois senator leads the Arizona senator in Colorado and New Mexico.
McCain leads Obama in Florida, while North Carolina and Virginia are up for grabs, the poll indicates.
The poll also found that Libertarian nominee, former U.S. Rep. Bob Barr, R-Ga., is having a negative impact on McCain's numbers, particularly in Missouri and Colorado.
Nationally, the poll found Obama leads McCain 44 percent to 38 percent, with Barr at 6 percent support.
The poll findings are based on online polls from June 11 to June 30 of 46,274 likely voters. The margin of error is 0.5 percent.
