WASHINGTON, July 3 (UPI) -- The chairman of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee Thursday threatened to hold ex-White House aide Karl Rove in contempt if he fails to respond to a subpoena.
Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., issued the ultimatum after Rove's lawyers turned down a subpoena issued by the subcommittee looking into allegations of "politicization" at the Department of Justice, according to The Hill.
