Drugs hidden aboard Air Jamaica flight

PHILADELPHIA, July 2 (UPI) -- U.S. Customs Department agents announced they intercepted a stash of cocaine and marijuana hidden aboard an Air Jamaica airliner in Philadelphia.

Nine pounds of contraband drugs was hidden in a galley cart of the Air Jamaica flight from Kingston that arrived in Philadelphia Sunday night.

The Philadelphia Inquirer said Customs agents pegged the value of the seizure at about $44,000.

No arrests have been made.
