HERVEY BAY, Australia, June 20 (UPI) -- Investigators in Australia are trying to determine if a burned body found in New South Wales is that of a woman missing from her home in Queensland.

Lisa Maree Keem was last seen Saturday in Hervey Bay, the Fraser Coast Chronicle reported. The body was discovered by a hiker the next day in the Maria River State Forest.

Police say that they expect to have the results of DNA tests next week.

Investigators were also trying to track Keem's estranged husband, Richard Giardina. While police said they talked to him in Sydney early this week, he reportedly flew to Dubai soon after and may have gone on to Sicily, where he has relatives.

Police were also trying to trace a 1992 Mitsubishi Magna with New South Wales plates seen in Hervey Bay Saturday.

Keem owned a pet grooming business, Foxy Furs. Friends said that she had been getting threats.

Friends posted photographs of Giardina on Keems' FaceBook page and asked people in Dubai and Italy to keep a lookout for him, The Daily Telegraph reported.
