WASHINGTON, June 20 (UPI) -- A man accused of trying to set a U.S. airliner's curtains on fire during a trans-Atlantic flight is in custody in Austria, security officials said.

Officials of the Transportation Security Administration said 25-year-old Slovakian citizen Zoltan Lensky was intoxicated when he allegedly attempted to ignite the curtains during a flight from Atlanta to Vienna Wednesday, CNN reported.

Lensky tried to set fire to a set of curtains after flight attendants refused his requests for more alcoholic beverages, TSA spokesman Christopher White said.

Lensky was arrested by a federal air marshal on the plane, White said.

After the airliner landed in Vienna, authorities took custody of Lensky, CNN said.
