Bomb kills 3 anti-al-Qaida in Iraq members

BAGHDAD, June 16 (UPI) -- At least three members of an anti-al-Qaida in Iraq organization died Monday in a roadside bombing in Diyala province, a security official said.

One other person was injured when the bomb detonated in Buritz, CNN reported.

In other developments, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said at least one Iraq civilian died and 23 others wounded in two roadside bombings in northern Baghdad.

Also, an Iraqi soldier and a member of Awakening, an organization countering al-Qaida in Iraq, were killed in a mortar attack in western Baghdad, CNN said. Eight other were wounded in the attack on a security station operated by both soldiers and Awakening members.
