Quake shakes Calif. east of Moraga

MORAGA, Calif., June 10 (UPI) -- The U.S. Geological Survey said a 3.1 magnitude earthquake hit California early Tuesday morning near the Las Trampas Regional Wilderness.

The quake struck a location four miles east of Moraga and four miles southwest of Alamo, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Tuesday.

The area was previously subjected to two earthquakes measuring 3.0 and 3.5 magnitude Friday.
