ORLANDO, Fla., June 9 (UPI) -- Paramedics in Orange County, Fla., were called to the Sheraton Vistana Village resort to treat the victim of a rattlesnake bite.

Federal privacy rules prevent release of the name of the victim of Sunday night's attack but a spokeswoman for the fire department said the bite was not fatal, The Orlando Sentinel reported Monday.

The newspaper says the victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
