MADRID, June 5 (UPI) -- A Spanish judge Thursday indicted 10 men from Pakistan and one from India for their alleged association with a terror group planning an attack in Spain.

The suspects were allegedly planning an attack on Barcelona's mass transit system.

The indictment says the men were "very close to achieving full technical capacity with explosives" to carry out attacks in January 2008.

Of the 11, 10 of the suspects were arrested in Spain in January, El Pais reported online Thursday. The 11th suspect was arrested Thursday in The Netherlands.
