WASHINGTON, June 5 (UPI) -- U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, the likely Democratic presidential nominee, wants to clamp down on "insider" contributions to his campaign, aides say.

The Illinois senator has advised the National Democratic Committee to stop accepting checks from federal

lobbyists or political action committees, Politico reported.

He also said he would share fundraising information with the media, probably through a pool reporter.
