KABUL, Afghanistan, June 1 (UPI) -- A remote-controlled bomb hit a mini-bus carrying Afghan troops to the defense ministry Sunday, killing one person and injuring five others, police reported.

Three army personnel and two civilians suffered injuries in the blast that left one civilian woman dead, Afghan defense officials told CNN. The bus carries military personnel back and forth to the defense ministry.
