BELLVUE, Wash., May 30 (UPI) -- Four suspects pleaded guilty to raping a Seattle-area girl who later identified two of her attackers on her MySpace page.
The Seattle Post-Intelligencer said Friday the suspects, ages 17 and 18, will be sentenced next month to between four and 15 months in detention.
The sexual assault occurred last fall in Bellevue, Wash., where the 16-year-old victim agreed to meet the youths she had met on the Internet. King County prosecutors said the boys plied her with alcohol and then assaulted her on a darkened road.
The girl later described what had happened on her MySpace page. The newspaper said police then obtained a search warrant to capture e-mail messages about the incident exchanged among the suspects.
