Gunman kills 7 worshipers at Yemen mosque

SANAA, Yemen, May 30 (UPI) -- Seven people were killed and 11 wounded when a gunman opened fire on worshipers during Jummah prayer at a mosque near the Yemeni capital of Sanaa,

A suspect, identified as Abdullah al-Quhali, 24, was captured. Police said they had uncovered no motive for the shooting.

It was the third such attack in recent years in Amran.
