BALTIMORE, May 28 (UPI) -- U.S. President George Bush's newly married daughter, Jenna, applied for a teaching job at Baltimore's first public boarding school, a school administrator says.
Director Carol Beck says the hiring of the Jenna Bush hasn't been completed and she's not sure how far along the process is, The Sun, a Baltimore newspaper, reported Wednesday.
The boarding school, set to open in September, is the second one developed by the SEED Foundation, a nonprofit that establishes urban public boarding schools to prepare students from underserved communities for college.
The first school of its kind was opened in 1998 in Washington.
The Baltimore facility will serve 80 disadvantaged students from around Maryland.
Jenna Bush and her husband, Henry Hager, have moved to South Baltimore.
