JAIPUR, India, May 15 (UPI) -- A group calling itself "Indian Mujahedin" has claimed responsibility for the serial bombings that killed dozens of people in the Indian city of Jaipur.

Police and security agencies worked Thursday to determine the source of the e-mail message from "Indian Mujahedin" regarding the Tuesday bombings in the capital of the desert state of Rajasthan in western India, the Press Trust of India reported.

The blasts killed more than 60 people and wounded more than 200 others.

The group also sent video clips of a bicycle it claimed was strapped with the bombs, the Times of India reported. Various reports said the frame number of a bicycle recovered by police from the blast site had the same number as in the video clip.

The message warned that India should stop supporting the United States in the international arena and warned of more such attacks if such support didn't stop, the PTI report said.

CNN reported eight bombs went off within 12 minutes at a short distance from one another in a crowded market area and a sacred Hindu temple which was packed with worshipers at the time.

The majority of Jaipur's 2.7 million people are Hindus but the city also has a sizable Muslim population.
