
CRAWFORD, Texas, May 9 (UPI) -- Members of the Bush family gathered Friday at President W. Bush" class="tpstyle">George W. Bush's ranch in Texas to prepare for the wedding of his daughter, Jenna.
Jenna Bush and Henry Hagar, son of Virginia Republican Party Chairman John Hagar, are to be married Saturday in a private ceremony at the ranch. Hagar, who interned at the White House and worked on the president's 2004 campaign, is studying for a master's degree in business administration at the University of Virginia.
Presidential spokesman Gordon Johndroe told reporters at a briefing that photographs of the wedding will be released Sunday.
"It's a -- it really is -- it's a private ceremony," he said. "It's an exciting time for the Bush family. They're all beginning to converge here in Texas and in Crawford, and I know the president and Mrs. Bush are really looking forward to this weekend."
The president and first lady have tried to keep Jenna and her twin, Barbara, out of the limelight during his political career.
